Events & Missions – Sowing Seed

Sowing Seed is preparing for an upcoming two-week missions trip to Mongolia, where we will connect with local churches and ministry leaders who are actively reaching Unreached People Groups (UPGs). This trip is centered on building meaningful relationships, encouraging those on the front lines of ministry, and seeking Spirit-led opportunities to support the spread of the Gospel throughout the region. As we spend time with these leaders, our heart is to listen, learn, and come alongside their efforts in ways that bring lasting Kingdom impact. We invite you to partner with us in prayer as we pursue what God is doing across Mongolia.

In October 2026, Sowing Seed is returning to Palawan Island in the Philippines to continue building relationships, sharing the love of Jesus, and ministering alongside local communities. During this trip, we will also be raising funds to help repair and restore essential piers used by local villagers, providing safer and more reliable access for the families and communities who depend on them every day. Our heart is to serve in a way that brings both spiritual encouragement and practical support—demonstrating the love of Christ through our words, our presence, and our actions.

Sowing Seed is preparing for a missions trip to Malaysia in 2027, with dates currently to be determined. A major focus of this journey will be specialized ministry training centered on how to effectively and compassionately share the Gospel with Muslim communities. Through biblical teaching, cultural understanding, and hands-on discipleship, this trip will help equip believers to minister with wisdom, humility, and the love of Christ. We are prayerfully anticipating how God will use this opportunity to strengthen outreach efforts and expand His Kingdom throughout the region.

In February 2027, Sowing Seed will be traveling to Thailand to minister to women and young girls who have been affected by human trafficking and exploitation. Our heart is to bring the love, hope, and healing of Jesus Christ to those who have experienced deep pain, while supporting ministries and outreach efforts already serving on the front lines. Through prayer, relationship-building, and compassionate outreach, we desire to remind every person we encounter that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. We ask for continued prayer as we prepare for this mission and seek to be faithful ambassadors of Christ’s mercy and restoration.

In March 2027, Sowing Seed will return to the Philippines to continue building relationships and advancing outreach efforts among Unreached People Groups (UPGs), with a special focus on villages throughout Palawan Island. This mission will include ongoing discipleship, encouragement for local leaders, and special projects designed to support and strengthen the communities we serve. Our heart is to continue planting seeds of hope, sharing the love of Christ, and partnering with those faithfully ministering in remote areas. We are grateful for the opportunity to return and continue the work God has already begun.

This scouting trip will identify key regions and potential properties to establish future outreach locations, creating a foundation for sustained ministry engagement. As we prayerfully explore opportunities, our goal is to partner with local leaders and position resources where they can most effectively reach the unreached. This step is vital in building a lasting presence that supports the advancement of the Gospel across Japan.
